Performance marketing and booking automation for brands and local businesses. Freelancing since 2019: Facebook ads and media buying for local businesses in Cambodia, now with GoHighLevel booking systems and campaigns for clients in the US, UK, Australia and Canada.

My story
Freelancing since 2019. Building for the long term.
In 2019 I started working as a freelancer, helping local businesses in Cambodia grow with Facebook ads. Many owners were already on Facebook every day, but few had a clear way to turn that attention into paying customers. My focus was simple: make advertising understandable, measurable and worth the money.
Since then I have worked as a Facebook ads specialist and media buyer for local businesses. The job grew beyond running campaigns. It now covers the whole path around them: understanding the offer, shaping the message, setting up tracking, reading the numbers honestly, and fixing what happens after a lead arrives.
That last part changed how I work. Again and again I saw ads bring leads while slow replies, scattered follow-up and no-shows swallowed the results. That is why Klingtec pairs advertising with a booking system.

My opinion
Digital marketing in Cambodia: what I have learned
These are my views, based on working with local businesses since 2019. They come from experience, not from market research.
Facebook is still where business happens.
In my experience, for most local businesses in Cambodia, Facebook is the shop window, the catalog and the customer service desk in one place. Customers ask questions in Messenger, compare options and often decide through a chat. That makes Facebook ads powerful. It also makes reply speed critical.
The market is mobile-first and message-first.
People here often want to talk before they commit. Chat on Messenger, Telegram and sometimes WhatsApp feels natural. I believe businesses that make chatting easy win more customers than those that send people to long forms.
Many businesses boost posts, but few build a system.
I often meet owners who spend on boosted posts without a clear goal, tracking, or a plan for follow-up. When results disappoint, they blame the ad. In most cases the ad is not the main problem. The missing system is.
The opportunity is wider than Facebook.
TikTok, Telegram and YouTube are all growing in attention. I think there is real opportunity there. But I also think spreading thin is a mistake. Get one channel working properly first, then add the next.
Trust is the real currency.
Many owners have been let down by agencies that promised too much and explained too little. I believe the way forward is honest reporting, realistic expectations and pricing that is tied to real outcomes. This is why I charge commission only on appointments that actually show up.
Measurement is the biggest gap.
Most small businesses can tell me how many likes a post got, but not what a booked customer costs. Once an owner can see leads, bookings and shown appointments in one place, decisions become easier and wasted spend becomes visible.
Where I think the market is heading.
I expect competition to keep growing. When more businesses advertise, a basic post is no longer enough to stand out. Offers, creative quality and follow-up will matter more. The businesses that invest in these now will be well placed.

What is next
Serving local businesses, and beyond Cambodia
I will always value the local businesses that gave me my start. At the same time, I aim to serve businesses in some of the world's highest-paying markets: the United States, United Kingdom, Australia and Canada. These markets often have larger advertising budgets and higher customer values. That means better opportunities for the businesses I work with, and new opportunities for me to grow my own agency.
Working from Phnom Penh, I build systems that run around the clock: instant replies, online booking and automated follow-up. That makes time zones far less of a barrier. I build opt-in consent and opt-out handling into every setup, and I review the messaging and advertising rules of each market before a campaign goes live.
United States
Large local-service market. Texting consent rules (TCPA) are built in.
United Kingdom
Appointment-led businesses. Privacy and e-marketing rules respected.
Australia
Strong demand for online booking, with anti-spam and privacy rules in mind.
Canada
Local services and clinics, with consent-first messaging.
